TI SN29733 and TI ID-699

Hello,

Perhaps i can found some help here (datasheet or cross reference)?!. I already contacted the TI support. Unfortunately without success.

I am looking for a datasheet for the following two chips:

- SN29733 : All i know of this chip (DIP16) that it was used in TV sets of the late 70's as a sensor ic.

- ID-699 (DIP16) from 1983

Any help would be high appreciated!

Hi, Andreas,

I was unable to find any info on these parts in our internal systems, either.

I suspect they were custom made for the manufacturer back in the day.

Typically, when we end of life a part, we send excess inventory to distributors who specialize in holding obsolete stock -- like Rochester: http://www.rocelec.com/

I also googled the first p/n and came up with this: http://www.donberg.ie/catalogue/semiconductors/semiconductors_sn-sth/sn_29733.html (which I'm sure you saw...).

We typically keep our parts active in the catalog for a very long time, but 30+ years?!?!?! Maybe not. :-)
