AMC1336: A pull-down on the output of the AMC1336 data line- ok?

Part Number: AMC1336
Team, the line sense circuit you guys reviewed for us previously is currently in the fab, but I learned today that we need to have the data line output of the AMC1336 multiplexed on the system processor with a signal which is high impedance when off but needs a pull-up or pull down (100k) at start-up.

think it should be ok to have a 100k to ground on this pin at start-up, because I assume the output is a buffered CMOS output or similar. Then again- we know what they say about assumptions. :)

Is it permissible for us to have a 100k pull-down on this data line?
