Hello,

Unfortunately there is not an EVM for this device, but it is a fairly straight forward device to work with.

Alternatively we have the ADS7142-Q1 which does offer an EVM: http://www.ti.com/tool/BOOSTXL-ADS7142-Q1

Hi Collin, Thank you for your reply. Actually, I need the device to work. I would like to go with ADC161S626EVM instead of ADC141S628 because the functionality looks very similar other than the # of bits. Can you tell me which Launchpad works with the ADC161S626EVM? Also, can you tell me the availability of Launchpad source code? Best regards, RYO

Hello,

The ADC161S626EVM is a good option for a similar device to the ADC141S628. The link to the LaunchPad is listed below:

Upon initially looking, we were not able to locate the original FW project files for the LP source code. The EVM is programmed via a FW binary file and bootstrap loading program during production. We will continue to look for the source code.

Hi Collin, Thank you for your help. I thought that ADC161S626 and ADC141S628 are pin2pin compatible. I thought that the replacing those parts on the EVM and editing some reading bits in the LP source code may work. But from your explanation, it would be hard. Thanks, RYO
