ADS8668: Whether ADS8668 & ADS8528 can support daisy chain SPI

Hi team,

Customer is evaluating our  ADS8668  & ADS8528 for their design.

They would like to know whether ADS8668  & ADS8528 can support daisy chain SPI. Thanks.

    Hi Feng bin,

    Yes, both ADS8668 and ADS8528 support daisy-chain mode. There are a couple of things I would like to point out:

    • ADS8528 is a simultaneous sampling ADC(12-bit/8-ch), If simultaneous sampling ADC is expected, ADS8578S should be a good option because ADS8578S has an integrated analog front-end including PGA and ADC driver which eliminate the need for external amplifier to drive the ADC on each channel. 
    • ADS8668 is a non-simultaneous sampling ADC(12-bit/8-ch),  also has an integrated analog front-end including PGA and ADC on each channel.
