ADS8339: Resolution

Hi sir,

I have a question on resolution of ADS8339.

I think full scale input span is according to the value of Vref in the datasheet,

but for full scale input span, it's determined by resolution 16bit.

e.g. if Vref= 3.3V, LSB＝3.3V/2^16, is my calculation correct?

Hello,

You're correct that the full-scale input voltage is VREF in this device. You're also correct that to calculate the LSB weight you'll divide the full-scale input range by the ADC resolution as you're showing.
