DAC8771: VOUT fault

Hi,

With the following customer settings, the Fault bit is always asserted.
Is there any abnormality in the register settings?
I think it's correct as far as I can see.

SelectBuckBoostConverter ( 0x0001 )

ConfigurationBuckBoost ( 0x0003 )

SelectDAC ( 0x0220 )

ConfigurationDAC ( 0x1513 )

DACData ( 0x8000 )

UserAlarmCode ( 0x8000 )

/VOUT +/-10V range

/Mid scale output

/Use Internal Ref

/VOUT & IOUT is independent (not short)

The customer wants to check the register settings before checking the hardware.

Hello Hiroshi,

Which of the fault bits is asserted and when is it readback to confirm the fault? The fault bits are sticky meaning that the bit will not clear even after a fault no longer exists. The only way to clear the fault bit is to write '1' to the bit or to reset the device.

These sequence of commands should not cause a fault unless there is some HW issue.
