ADS7828: TIMING CHARACTERISTICS 3.45us data hold time meaning of ADS7828

Hi team,

We want to check the hold time requirement below for the ADS7828 SDA. Currently the datasheet gives the standard mode value is 0-3.45us. What does it means about the 3.45us? We need to keep the hold time larger than 3.45us, correct? Currently my customer use 25khz, the test hold time is 10us(>3.45us), whether it has risks? Thanks.

    Hello,

    The data hold time can be from 0 to 3.45us, you do not need to hold it for longer.

    You should be able to hold it for longer, as long as the set up time is met in the following bit.

    Be sure that the set up time is met, minimum of 250ns
