Hi,

Driving low of START pin is required according to "Conversion Control Timing Requirements" as below.

Is this not required when keeping conversion on continuous mode?

In other words, we can keep driving start pin to high when keeping conversion, right?

Best Regards,

Kuramochi

  • Hi  Kuramochi,

Your understanding is correct. The conversion is started by taking the START high and stopped by driving it to low, the START pin can be tied to DVDD to permanently free-run conversions for Continuous-conversion mode only. Also, the START and STOP command can be used as well, tie START pin to DGND to control conversions by command.

    Best regards,

    Dale
