ADS1299: ads1299 SNR and CMRR

Part Number: ADS1299

Hello, I would like to check -  SNR and CMRR in my design board with ADS1299. For this task, I would like to use an external device, but I don't know which one. Which tolerance should have the equipment to simulate external signals?

  • Hello Ildar,

    Thank you for your post.

There are endless possibilities to test your system performance. Generally speaking, the equipment must have better noise and distortion performance than what is expected from the signal chain. Our team often uses an Audio Precision (i.e. AP2700) for low-frequency applications where 100-Hz to 10-kHz high-fidelity sine waves is needed to evaluate precision ADC systems.

That said, it's up to you to verify the performance of your test equipment and to know whether it can meet or exceed the intended performance goals of your circuit.

    Best regards,
