DAC60501: Device ID DAC60501 and 60502

Hi,

I am just writing the software driver to support the DACx0501 and DACx0502 in our project. I found some misunderstandings in the data sheets of these DACAs.

I wonder about the device IDs of the DACx0501 and DACx0502  DACs.

The data sheet of the DACx0501 family on page 31 shows the following:

What are the right device ID for the DACs?

DAC60501Z = 2415h or 2215h, DAC70501Z = 1415h or 1215h, DAC80501Z = 0415h or 0215h ?

DAC60501M = 2495h or 2295h, DAC70501M = 1495h or 1295h, DAC80501M = 04915h or 0295h

The data sheet of the DACx0502 family shows on page 29 the following:

My question is again, what are the right device IDs for the DACs?

DAC60502 = 2215h or 2214h, DAC70502 = 1215h or 1214h, DAC80501Z = 0215h or 0214h ?

    Hi,

    Please find the device ID going with datasheet interpretation.

    DAC80501z -----> 0215h, DAC70501z------> 1215h, DAC60501z -----> 2215h

    DAC80501m-----> 0295h, DAC70501m------> 1295h, DAC60501m -----> 2295h

    DAC80502---->  0215h, DAC70502---> 1215H, DAC60502 -----> 2215h

    Will check with my design team to verify these device ID's are indeed the correct ones. Please give me days time..

    Hi Akhiles,

    Thanks for the fast answer. But this means that I am not able to distinguish between the DACx0501z and the DACx0502 series using the device ID.

    Am I right?

    I had checked this with our design team. There is a problem in the product datasheet. Please find the device ID's.

    DAC80501Z  0x0115

    DAC70501Z 0x1115

    DAC60501Z 0x2115

     

    DAC80501M 0x0195

    DAC70501M 0x1195

    DAC60501M 0x2195

     

    DAC80502 0x0215

    DAC70502 0x1215

    DAC60502 0x2215
