In the datasheet of this device, section 9.3.2.2 , it shows how external capacitors are connected to the input of this device, my question is about the 2 parallel input capacitors to GND, labeled as Cinp_ext1 and Cinp_ext2. In the following section, 9.3.2.3, it described the caps as "discrete capacitor that can be realized through parasitic capacitances resulting from on-board trace routings as well as the parasitic capacitances of other devices that are connected to the input" This tends to suggest that these caps shown in the circuit are just parasitic components and as such we are not supposed to actually wire the parts in, ie to leave them out. Is my understanding of datasheet correct? Thanks.
