Hello!

I'm currently work on ADS1299. I want to use it to get ECG data, so my question is that is the mode of connection the same as

the EEG? I just have tried to do as the same ,but then I get a almost same data as the EEG. I don't know whether I was right.

Hi,

EEG is for brain waves, meaning that the electrodes are commonly connected somewhere on the head. Most EEG measurements are single-ended with respect to a reference electrode.

ECG is for heart signals, meaning that the electrodes are place on various parts of the body. Most ECG measurements are differential in the analog domain, or are later stitched together in the digital domain such that the difference between the electrode on the left arm, right arm, and left leg can be calculated.
