ADS8688: Regarding programming structure of registers.

Can you guys tell me the programing structure of Registers, In what sequence we can configure the  registers  for Read and write operation(ADS8688).

    Hi Prashanth,

    Thanks for posting your query on E2E forum. All the registers of ADS8688 including the command registers and program registers are described and introduced in the section 8.5, the detail for each program register are discussed between page 47 and 51 in the ADS8688 datasheet. Also, the timing of register reading and writing are shown in figure 88 and 89. Let me know if you have questions.

    In Command Read-Back Register (address = 3Fh) ,What command word[15:8] should be given in this register or how we can configure this register.

    Hi Prashanth,

    The Command Read-Back Register (address= 3Fh) is a Read-only register and you can not configure this register. The command to read back this register is, 7-bit register address+1-bit /RD+8-bit any data x ( 0 or 1):  0111111 0 xxxx xxxx. Please see the table and timing below:
