Hiii,

I am giving input voltage  1v to ADC to the channel 0 ,Now i need to read the digital data from Channel 0 ,Can you say me how we can get the digital data from ADC.

    Hi Mondi,

    Please send C000h command to the ADC with default input range and follow the timing in Figure 1 in the ADS8688 datasheet to read the conversion data on the SDO.

    Hii Dale,

    On SDI line I am passing C000H, after some delay i am getting the Digital Data , Again I tried to pass C400h which is Channel 1 ,Iam Getting the Garbage value if i give 2.5 v i am getting 5v.

    Why it Coming can you Please clarify me. I am Following Below Timing Diagram

    Hi Mondi,

    I need more information:

    1. Can you please provide your timing captured with an oscilloscope including /SCLK,/CS, SDI and SDO?

    2. Is there components/devices before ADC's input? your schematic will be very helpful to address the issue.

    3. What's the data you got on CH0 after sending C000h to the ADC? have you changed input range or you are using default range?

    4. For the data you got on CH1, I also need your captured timing to check.

    5. Is your DC analog input from a precision generator? just check.
