ADS124S08: What happens when AINP or AINN is floating

We need to determine what happens if AINP or AINN is left floating.  Can I expect they will be pulled one way or the other, or will they be floating?  This is not normal operation for us.  We are trying to debug an issue.

    Hi Glen,

    If the input pin is left floating it could be at any value between AVSS and AVDD.  In many cases that I have seen it will tend to drift toward AVDD, but there is no guarantee as to the actual input voltage value.  If you start to sample on the floating pin(s) some charge will deplete and can drift to some other value.
