ADC32RF42: Basic SPI read or write to confirm spi functionality

Good afternoon,

I would like to confirm spi functionality by doing a basic read. A lot of devices have a register that you can read that has the lot code or revision number, is there something like this in this device?

Hi Julia,

To verify basic SPI functionality, you can write to general (or page selection) registers and readback. For example,

SPIWRITE 0x2, 0x55

SPIREAD 0x2

You should be able to read back 0x55
