Part Number: ADC16DV160

Hi , 

Looking into your EVB schematic you put an ATD1-1WT+ transformer with 75 Ohm impedance on clock inputs port , is there a reason why you took this and not standard 50 Ohm ? 

A fast response will be appreciate without measure.

    The Minicircuits ATD1-1WT+ datasheet is pretty thin and there is no impedance / return loss data. Though it is advertised as a 75 ohm part, most of these types of transformers are actually very good at 50 ohms.  They are spec'ed at 75 ohm because the high volume target audience is cable infrastructure.  In any case, my assumption is that the transformer operates well within the desired frequency range and impedance level and that is why it was chosen.  In short, there is no need to design to 75 ohm.
