ADS1115: Status of Ready Output in Single Cycle Mode

My question relates to the ADS1115 Alert/Ready output.

The datasheet for the ADS1115 indicates that the Ready (Conversion Complete) output is only 8 usec long when used in the continuous conversion mode.

Is this also true for the single cycle mode ?

If it is not, then what resets it ? (Logically, I would expect that reading the output or starting a new cycle would reset it.)

Please advise.

Jon,

The ALERT/RDY pin is reset by a new conversion. In single shot mode with COMP_POL=0 (Active Low), the RDY pin asserts low after a conversion and stays low after the conversion until the user triggers the next conversion.
