AFE4300: Improving the accuracy of the BCM Impedance Measurement

Part Number: AFE4300

Hello,

We have been using the AFE4300 for over a year now and we have been running into a couple problems.

1) Inaccuracies with FWR mode. From doing measurements on known resistors, we can see that FWR is consistently doing worse in terms of accuracy compared to IQ. And this is a problem because we have some frequencies outside the IQ frequencies that we want to measure.

2)  1,2,3 and 256 kHz impedance readings are generally worse than frequencies between 8 and 128 kHz in both FWR and IQ mode. For example, it is common to see 4 to 10% error with 1kHz at times.

3) We don't know how to account for the parallel impedance caused by the input impedance of the difference amplifier on the BCM side.
