Connection issue with ADS1298ECGFE-PDK

 

Hi,

We are unable to connect to  ADS1298ECGFE-PDK kit which uses C5509 DSP to connect with PC through USB.

The below steps are followed,

Installed the  ADS1298ECGFE-PDK PC software.

Connected the USB cable to the kit

Switched on the power supply

Run  ADS1298ECGFE-PDk software in the PC

The following message comes up and it keeps asking for retry,

"The firmware load has failed due to a timeout condition

  Please reset the hardware to continue loading the firmware"

then,

"Connection and FW Load Failed!

 Please check your connections/configuration and try again"

 Is there any configuration setting needs to be done for this?

    It sounds like it could be a few different things. So, to cover the most common ones, please ensure jumpers are installed per User's Guide, and the latest software is installed. Both the User's Guide and the software can be found via HERE. Please let us know if you have any more issues after this.

    I am having the same issues.  Basically it cannot load the dsp firmware, because it cannot find it. The bin file is located

    C:\Program Files (x86)\ADS129xECG-FE\fw.

    The description Prince provided was very accurate.  The jumpers are correct and the latest software was download today.  I am running windows 7.  The device ID and Firmware Version on the main window are blank, maybe these get updated with the firmware is loaded correctly.

    I appreciate any help.

    Have you installed the most recent software (v1.1.1)?  This version was recently release to address the driver installation on Win7 64bit machines.  If you are not using a Win7 64bit OS, please let us know.

  • I have the same problem. All the instructions you have pointed is done by me however, the problem is still exist. Exact problem with Prince. Please help us with that, obviously there are some other related issues are causing this.
