ADC12DJ3200EVM: EVM testing with arria 10 development kit

Can you please provide more information regarding your sampling frequency, the jmode being used. The JESD link should not be depended on input being provide to the ADC. If you can provide a little bit more info the would be helpful.

Hi Anuradha,

As I mentioned in the email above,  the JESD link should not be depended on input being provide to the ADC. Here are couple of things I want to you try:

1. Run the ADC at lower sampling clock say 3GHz sampling frequency in JMODE0 which will make your serdes data rate to 6Gbps instead of 12Gbps. See if you link is more stable this way.

2. Set the register address 0x48 to value of 0x3. This register controls the Pre-emphasis setting on the serdes and may help with capture issue.

3. Can you please let me know if you are using your hardware or is it a TI ADC12DJ3200EVM?
