Hi sir,

A customer have some query regards DAC38J84.

He want to configure DAC in that his target was NCO+External DATA is his final output.
He is able to do configure NCO and he got output.
but he is not able to configure DAC JESD.
so can you help me,

what are the registers name related to JESD.
please tell me in details how many registers are useful for me and what are those registers Name/Address.

    Hello Frank,

    Our customers may use the DAC38J84 GUI to generate the necessary JESD204 parameters. The interactive GUI allows the user to select the proper LMFS settings for the JESD204 section. Please take a look. Thanks.

    Hi Kang,

    Thank u for your response.

    our customer used GUI but he is not able to make LMFS as 4211.
    One more question : first he need to configure JESD RX or TX?
    He is not able to receive in JESD, from his external Xilinx Board he is sending DATA with JESD204B IP TX

    Hi,

    4211 will be any of the dual dac families. DAC38J82 for example.

    You can configure the Xilinx FPGA (JESD TX), and then DAC38J82 (JESD RX). This is per JESD204 recommendation.
