Hello

I am using TI's High speed ADC board ADS52J90EVM. As far as i understood from the user guide , that we have to supply clock externally ( using signal generator) .

I like to ask, if there is any internal clock which we can use instead of external clock generator ? I am using TSW14J56 interface.

I have another issue also. when I choose HMC-DAQ GUI, an error appears as in the photo. How can I solve it?

Hello,

You will need administrator privileges to run the ADS52J90 EVM GUI.

Hi,

Supported clock configurations on the EVM are mentioned in the user guide.

Refer to the board schematics section for some limited on-board clock frequencies for LVDS interface.

For JESD interface, you will need the external clock on J75.

Well I tried to uninstall and reinstall the HMS-DAQ GUI and run it as administer, but I still have a same problem. the same error appears as :

then after clicking on continue, the following error appears:

do you know how I can solve this problem? How should I change the administrator privileges?

Hi,

Can you launch the HSDC pro with admin rights(Start >> Search for ‘High Speed Data Convertor Pro’>> right click and run as admin)?

This must solve the file access permission errors.

another question I have is for the external clock. Can you recommend me some external clock from TI?

can I connect this board (CDCM9102) to my ADS52j90 board as an external clock generator?
