Hello all! We are designing a thermocouple signal processing solution using ADS1118 and need to design a protection circuit for the thermo couple input side. In some of the ADC design we find a protection circuit like this, Is this OK for ADS1118? Which we are worry about is R5 and R6, they are followed by a schottky to clamp the voltage. But the resistanse is very big, will it affect the thermocouple?
Does TI have some protection circuit refence design for ADS1118 and thermocouple? Thank you !
