TSW3100 with DAC3283

I am using the TSW3100 to generate a sinewave of 70MHz±20MHz with the DAC3283. The TSW3100 has a inbuilt 100MHz oscillator which limits the operation to 200MSPS. Moreover the DAC3283 has a CDCE which runs on 19.2MHz. I am not sure on how to control the CDCE (mainly VCO) which determines the DAC_Clk, the data rate of TSW3100 as interpolation is to be enabled.

I am planning to operate the TSW3100 at 312MSPS, DAC_Clk to be 624MHz and the frequency should not go to the 2nd zone. Please let me know which configuration would/can be used for achieving this.

    If you feel comfortable with removing the 100MHz oscillator and install the new 125MHz oscillator, we will be happy to send you the 125MHz oscillator for your board rework. If this is not an option, we can also swap your TSW3100 board with a new one through your local TI sales office. Option 1 will be quicker. 

    As for the DAC3283 + CDCE62005 configuration, you can refer to the example setting files in the DAC3283 EVM GUI directory. There should be several .txt files located in

    C:\Program Files\Texas Instruments\DAC3283.fdr\data

    One of the example setting file is very close to your operating condition, MasterSave_614.4MHz_2x_3-24-10.txt. 

    The CDCE62005 EVM software also have tools to help with the CDCE62005 configuration. The software will need to be downloaded and installed separately
