DAC80508: Could I use DAC80508 internal reference for both DAC80508 and ADS1256?

Hi expert,

To save cost, I'd like to use DAC80508 internal reference for both DAC80508 and ADS1256, would this be permitted? Are there any concerns? Thanks!

Hi,

You can definitely use internal reference of DAC80508 to drive reference of ADS1256. Just use a buffer before connecting to ADC

Hi,

The OPA350 is a suitable amplifier to use as a reference buffer. It's shown in the datasheet in Figure 26.

Additionally, it's used as the reference buffer in the ADS1256EVM.
