1. LP5009  is driven by a different PWM configuration (Like PWM1 is 20% and PWM2 is 50% cycle etc) PWM OUT is configurable by using a registers setting?

2. Do you have any reference circuit for drive LCD Backlight control and Camera brightness?

    Yes, each channel can be configured with a different PWM duty cycle through the internal regs.

    There is no reference circuit for the LCD backlight driver, but we have shown a lot of application circuit in our backlight product family with this link: www.ti.com/.../products.html

    Here is the Linux driver for the LP50 family and most LED backlight drivers can support the PWM dimming interface.

In our application Camera and LCD backlight used white LEDs for controlling 10% brightness to 100% control (Like mobile display and flash brightness controlling)

Can we use the LP5009 Chipset or any other more suitable chipset available for our application ?

For driving backlight driver ic PWM Input, LCD display brightness dimming signal with 100Hz to 20kHz is recommended.

we observed LP5009 PWM ic generate output at 21kHz- 29kHz PWM frequency but LCD backlight driver requires 100Hz to 20kHz. 

1. Do we have any configuration for change PWM frequency?

2. Do we source (LP5009) PWM OUTPUT to the backlight driver IC (MP3387LGRT-Z)?

Hi Vishal,

     LP5009 can only deliver a 29khz PWM signal. LP5562 can support both 256Hz or 558Hz PWM frequency which should be the best choice for this application.

Yes, This chipset looks good also, if needed, we are able to configure as four PWM for source to another requirement as well instead of RGB LED application.
