Hi team,
Customer wants to know the meaning of quiet acquisition time. Could you explain the differences between acquisition time and quiet acquisition time?

Hi Robin,
The tQUIET time is a delay between the falling edge of last SCLK pulse and the next rising edge of /CS which is an actual conversion start signal, it should not be called "Quiet acquisition time" and it should be called "Quiet time" or "Delay time" in the datasheet.
The tACQ is the acquisition time to settle input signal on internal sample-and-hold circuit required by the ADC to achieve specified performance, this is the actual acquisition time for the ADC.
Thanks®ards,
