TSW14J56 can not indentify by HSDC pro

Dears

We would like to use the TSW14J56 to test a ADC, but after set up, it can not be indentified by the computer, showing Cypress SD3 USB Boot Device, not the  Cypress FX3 USB StreamerExample Device. seemed the USB3 on the board do not have the firmware.

if the issue related witht he USB firmware, So where I can find the USB3 firmwave? for the chip of CYUSB3014 on board.

    Jun,

    Make sure the PMODE 0-2 jumpers are installed as follows:

    JP11 (PMODE0) pins 1-2

    JP12 (PMODE1) not installed

    JP13 (PMODE2) pins 2-3

    Hi Jim

    Thanks for the help, and I have checked the jumper, it is installed just as you mentioned for the PMODE, but it still not response to the GUI, so maybe the EEPROM for the USB3 is failed?

    If you would like to try an reprogram the Cypress FX3 EEPROM, you can use the attached files. If this does not fix the issue, you can request a replacement board. 

    If you bought this from a distributor, you will have to work with them to get a replacement. If you bought it from the TI Store, the link below has the details and a link to the form to start the return process.  Once you are on the returns and refunds page of the TI Store look for the hyperlink which says: TI store customer support form.
