DAC088S085: Confirm if there is a dynamic power capacitance associated with the input clock and data pins

Part Number: DAC088S085

Hi Team,

Our customer would like to confirm if there's a dynamic power capacitance associated with the input clock and data pins?

The reason the customer ask the question is that they noticed an increase in power in their circuit and trying to identify what devices may be using extra current during programming.

To that end, does this part use additional current when it is being programmed?

Let me know your comment.

Thanks,

Jonathan

  • Hi,

There is change in current consumption of the device when the SCLK is present ( dynamic state) and when SCLK is not present ( static state)

This is the reason you are observing higher current consumption in programming mode.

Below are the numbers for your reference.
