ADS7953-Q1: SDO answer not two Byte

Hello,

i just confiured the SPI of the ADS7953-Q1 and I am able to read out the messages send by the SDO. I configured the ADS7953-Q1 in automode-1. But it is not possible to read the upcounting channelnrs (4 MSB).

If I watch the SDO signal with the oszillograph it seems to be less than two byte. Do you have an suggestion what is the reason for?

    Hello,

    What line is the SDO and which line is the SDI?

    Also, this device has a three frame latency. This means that frame 1, is where you tell the device what channel to sample, and then on frame 3 (two frames after) is where the output data asked for in frame 1 is outputted.

    if you are trying to get data for the first 2 frames after power up, then you will not get the data you are expecting.
