TSC2007: About PENIRQpin

Part Number: TSC2007
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TSC2003

Hi Team,

I would like to know about D3-D2 (PD1-PD0) listed in Table 2 of the datasheet.

Both "01" and "11" are A/D converter on.PENIRQ disabled. Is this correct?

To turn on the AD converter, set PD0=1.

To enable PENIRQ, PD=0.I don't understand the role of PD1.

When the touch panel is not touched, which command do I send to make the PENIRQ signal High?

Is PENIRQ = High in the initial state after power-on?

Best Regards,

Kenji

  • Hello Kenji,

For PD0 and PD1, I think you can use the same table shown in the TSC2003. The table is shown below. The difference between "01" and "11" is whether the reference is ON or OFF.

For PENIRQ, the output should be HIGH and it is pulled low when the touch screen is touched.

    Regards,
