AFE5809: demodulation output issue

Hi,

I am facing some issue with demodulation part in afe5809.i am not getting the demodulated output as per the datasheet.

my decimation factor is 32.it should be like

synch_word--A.I DATA--A.Q DATA-- 29 zeros --A.I DATA--A.Q DATA-- 30 zeros -- (cont....)

right?

but i am getting like this

synch_word-- RANDOM_DATA -- RANDOM_DATA -- RANDOM_DATA -- RANDOM_DATA -- 27 zeros ---- RANDOM_DATA -- RANDOM_DATA -- RANDOM_DATA -- RANDOM_DATA -- 28 zeros -- (cont....)

Hi Francis,

The output data sequence you're seeing "synch_word-- RANDOM_DATA -- RANDOM_DATA -- RANDOM_DATA -- RANDOM_DATA -- 27 zeros ---- RANDOM_DATA -- RANDOM_DATA -- RANDOM_DATA -- RANDOM_DATA -- 28 zeros -- (cont....)" can be seen only when FULL_LVDS_MODE setting is set to 0.

But in the register settings you shared you're setting FULL_LVDS_MODE bit to '1' (Reg 0xCA, bit 9). Can you please check whether you're overwriting this bit in later point of time ? Can you also share what demodulator settings are you configuring using profile memory ?

Hi kalyan,

thanks for your reply.FULL_LVDS_MODE is set to '1' only.i am not overwriting it later time.

profile ram value X"000000000801B000".but i am taking values from registers only not from profile ram.
