ADS7128: log rms data to file

Hi,

I want to log RMS Data to a file for analysis but it doesn't look like the web applicaiton for the ads7128 can do that. Is there any way for me to do that for my evaluation of this part?

Hello Adam,

What do you mean by, web application?

Do you means the EVM GUI? the EVM GUI will display the RMS values, but you cannot export that information directly from the GUI.

When using the device, the RMS result can be read from the RMS_RESULT_LSB and RMS_RESULT_MSB registers

Unfortunately there is not any sample code for this device

The ADS7142 does have sample code available, and although it does not use the same register map, it does use op codes, and can be used as a building block
