Hi team,

Our customer would like to use AFE4400SPO2EVM to collect SpO2 data from the chin and they have a question below:
Does the EVM do automatic gain control, if yes, is that the "enable calibration routine"? How does it work?

Hello Jonathan,

The AFE4400SPO2EVM does not have automatic gain control.

The GUI also does not have the 'Enable Calibration Routine'.

This feature is only supported in AFE4404 GUI.

The customer shared the image and would like to ask about what does the "caibration routine" in the GUI.
The customer is using AFE4403EVM as I confirmed because of the shared image.

Hi Jonathan,

The calibration routine finds the optimal AFE setting like the LED current, TIA gain, offset DAC setting for the user.

The calibration routine is only applied to 1 LED (Green LED).

Follow the instructions in the pop-up when the check box is enabled.
