ADS5562: About input clock and CLOCKOUT of ADS5562.

Part Number: ADS5562

Hi,

I'd like to ask about input clock and CLOCKOUT of ADS5562.

When inputting about 628 kHz clock as an input clock, would Duty in CLOCKOUT be 50%?

The Duty indicated on a datasheet with 50%(@80MHz). When it's checked by a production, it won't be 50% as shown in the following figure.

And I'd like to know relation between a CLOCKOUT and data. Data is changed at a fall of CLOCKOUT and stable at a rise of CLOCKOUT?

Best regards.

  • Hi user1466323,

    1. The input clock being used is outside the recommended operating range of 1-25 MSPS. Often when operating lower than 10MSPS the CLKOUT duty cycle will not be 50%.

    2. You are correct. The relationship between CLKOUT and Data can be seen below.
