ADS1292R: How can I test the ECG performance?

Part Number: ADS1292R

Hi

I design a ECG circuit with ADS1292r, but I cannot find any document to describe how to check the performance.

In the medical device test standard, CMRR/dynamic range/Reproducibility......should be checked.

The block diagram of ADS1292r shows the waveform after ADC1/ADC2 cannot be measured.

Does TI have another tool to do those measurement?

Thanks

  • Hi Hsin Cheng,

Welcome to the E2E forum !!

We recommend using the Patient Monitor Simulator such as the Fluke medSim 300B or some newer model from Fluke (see link below for a more comprehensive product line from Fluke) to check the device performance and functionality. The IEC standards will apply to the system-level design and not specifically for the ADS1292R by itself. We do not have any documentation for the medical certification.

Can you please help clarify what you mean by not able to measure the waveform after ADC1 and ADC2?

    Thanks.
