Hi Team,

Can you please support with following request:

I am looking for an ADC chip to be used as part of a project at his university. I think ADS8528 can meet our needs. But I couldn't find the linux driver. If possible, can you help?

Or, I list the needs below to present your alternative suggestions, if any.

1- at least 12 bit resolution
2- A total of 24 channels of ADC will be read. I thought it could be ADS8528 to be 3x8
3- It will be read over the SPI to be read simultaneously.

Hi Furkan,

We do not have a sample code for this ADC. ADS8528 is a good ADC if a simultaneous sampling ADC with bipolar input is expected. However, a high BW amplifier is usually required to drive this ADC. ADS8578S (14-bit and 8-ch) with integrated PGA and ADC driver is another option, only a 5V power supply is required by ADS8578S. Note that internal LPF filter on ADS8578S has 24kHz BW for +/-10V input range and +/-16kHz BW for +/-5V input range.
