Hello,

TMS570LS04x/03x LaunchPad doesn't contain CAN transceiver.

The CANTX and CANRX signals are located on J10 connector. You can plug a small CAN transceiver adaptor board to J10 connector (CANTX, CANRX, Power, GND).

Also another question about the digital output bins of the kit, if it can high speed output changing

All the CAN transceiver can support 1MHz baudrate. SN65HVDA541 is used on TI TMS570 HDK:
