ADS1675: Hardware trouble shooting

Part Number: ADS1675

Hi Sir,

When I use ads1675,the OTRA pin is connected to the ground through a resistor and LED light,
The LED lights keep flashing after the power on,
The measured input level of AINP and AINN is about 2.5V.
Even if the voltage of the DVDD is connected to 3V, the condition is not improved.
The collected output data is always jumping,
What's the matter with this, please.
Could you please share your valuable suggestions?

Thanks.
Regards,

  • Hello Frank,

Please replace the inductor B4 in series with the AVDD pins with a 0 ohm jumper.  This inductor can have a high impedance that may be causing the AVDD to drop out.

Also, measure the reference voltage input and the analog input with an oscilloscope.  The inputs could be oscillating; Measuring with a DMM would only show the average DC value and would not show high frequency that could be causing the input to over-range.
