DAC38RF82EVM: what is the use of CAR_SYSREFP/M signal?

Part Number: DAC38RF82EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMK04828

HI,

In DAC38RF82EVM schematic, there is CAR_SYSREFP/M signal. I would like to know, what is the use of CAR_SYSREFP/M signal, which is going to FMC?. is it mandatory to use it for DAC functionality?.

Regards,

Imran

  • Hi Imran,

This is to be provided to our TSW14J56/57 EVM FPGA tools. All JESD204B devices such as FPGA/ASIC and the DAC requires SYSREF provided as JESD204B, subclass 1 requirement.

You may see below for panel within the GUI, from the LMK04828 clock chip
