Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AMC7904,
I notice that the temperature sensor circuit is a bit different between AMC7834 Page 35 and AMC7904 Page 27.
D+ and D- are exchanged.
Is this important?
Thanks

I use the Diode-connected configuration.
The D+ and D- are exchanged.
For AMC7904, Base is connected to D-, and Emitter goes to D+.
For AMC7938, Emitter goes to D-.
Does this matter?
Are you referring to the image with the NPN or the PNP on the AMC7834 datasheet?
The PNP diode connected images look the same to me. Note the location of the diode in the transistor symbol.
OK. I a bit understand it.
In the AMC7904 picture, it shows the PNP circuit.
If I use NPN, like 3904, I need exchange the D- and D+, right?
The AMC7904 only shows PNP transistors. Think of it like this: where is the diode in the diode connected transistor?
D+ should be connected to the Anode, and D- should be connected to the Cathode.
Thanks,
Paul
