ADS1292R: Does ADS1292R must calibrate?

Part Number: ADS1292R

This is our ouput value plot. Do we need to do calibration?

  • Hi Ariel,

    Thank you for your post.

Can you please clarify what the output value plot in your attachment is?  I am not sure what you are asking for in terms of calibration.

    Thanks.

  • Hi! TCT:

This is our ECG data. X-Axis is ms. 80% main board's data just like this plot. Less 5% Y-Axis data would shift. The shift value is random. In our manufacturing process, we did not calibrate this sensor. Do we need to do calibration?

  • Hi Ariel,

The ADS1292R does not need any calibration to acquire the ECG signal. It doesn't look like you are getting the correct ECG signal from the hardware. I recommend using an ECG patient simulator to test your hardware or use the internal test signal function to ensure that the signal chain is working correctly.

    Thanks

  • Hi! TCT:

Thanks your reply! This plot is using ECG patient simulator to send 2Hz sin wave.

    There are 2 failed plot.

    Plot_1 is total signal shift.

    Plot_2 is signal distortion.

For now our engineer replaced the capacitance at Vref or replace ADS1292R to solve those 2 issue.
