ADS1247: ADS1247 CodeIDEAL and CodesTOTAL question

Part Number: ADS1247

Hi Support team

What is the meaning of CodeIDEAL and CodesTOTAL in the following two formulas?

  • Hi Red,

CodeIDEAL refers to the ideal output code given by the ADC, unaffected by offset or gain errors

CodesTOTAL refers to the total number of codes available for a specific ADC. A 16-bit ADC has 2^16 codes, a 24-bit ADC has 2^24 codes, etc.
