TLA2024EVM-PDK: When Plugging in PAMBoard device shows up as Tiva Device Firmware Update

Part Number: TLA2024EVM-PDK

Hello,

I recently purchased the TLA2024EVM-PDK.  I went to try to experiment with the kit and plugged it into USB and noticed while the driver was being setup that my computer identified the device as being "Tiva Device Firmware Update".  According to documentation the board that I am using Precision ADC Motherboard also referred to as PAMBoard.

Is there a method to updating the firmware of this board or do I need some form of external programmer to update the firmware on this board?

Thanks.

  • Hi Josh,

The TLA2024EVM-PDK should have had the firmware downloaded already into the PAMBoard.  If the firmware is not installed, then you should be able to use Program Device in the TLA2024EVM GUI from the File drop-down menu.

Let me know if you have any issues with the download.

    Best regards,

    Bob B
