I would like to know what the total supply current for the THS1215EVM. On its datasheet, section "1.3 Power Requirements", it is mentioned only about the possibility of powering with a single 3.3V and independent 3.3V analog and digital supplies. However, there is nothing saying about the power or current.
The THS1215 gives the Idd (Supply current active - total) as a maximum of 53.5mA. Could anyone tell me that value but for the whole THS1215EVM?

We have not characterized the power requirement of the EVM as a whole. I note that besides the THS1215, there are a number of other devices that may be on the EVM and the power consumption of these other devices may vary over frequency - particulary the DAC and the buffer/drivers depending on loading. From the bill of materials for the User Guide for the EVM, the following components may draw power. Also, i note that there are voltage dividers across the power supply with an adjustable resistor to set the optional refrence voltages, and these may draw different amounts of current depending on setting. The DAC may draw another 36 mA, but the datasheet for the 16244 buffer does not even mention a supply current spec as each buffer output may be specified for a max current of from 4mA to 24 mA each depending on suplpy and loading.
So i do not have an estimate for total power of the EVM. but i suspect that the ADC plus DAC plus the 16244-style buffer would account for most of the power draw for the EVM.
