Hello,

We are using ADS7951 device to read some analog measurements in a high power inverter application.

We are working with AUTO Mode-1 for reading the information.

Without PWM applied on the inverter, we are able to measure all the analog measurement across their respective measurement range.

However, when we apply PWM, we are getting ADC reset once we operate around 100Vdc on the inverter side.

We interpreted as ADC reset, as we were getting Ch0 continuously on the SPI till next power reset event even after removing the PWM.

Please help to resolve this issue.

Hello,

If I am understanding correctly, you have an PWM input to an op amp, then the output goes to the ADC. Would you please provide a schematic?

Is the output of the inverter as expected? please measure at the pin of the device to confirm signal is as expected.

When reading the output data of the ADC, are you all reading the Channel ID with the output data? This will help to get an insight into what the device is doing internally.

Would you share a scope shot of the digital communication, including CS, SCLK, SDI, SDO?

A schematic would also be helpful

I could share the schematic and further details via email if its ok.

Please see below SPI signals while the main power converter is switching. Please note that only CLK was probed properly.

Other channels would be having probing noise.
