EABI mode for DSP 5.42?

Hello,

I have a question regarding to this post:

I get the same error, when I try to change from COFF to EABI.

Is the EABI mode only working with SYSBIOS???

I am using:

- DSPBIOS 5.42.1.9

- CCS 5.5

- CGT 7.4.8

- DM6435

According to this thread ...

BIOS 5.x and DSP link do not support the ELF (--abi=eabi) format. We only deliver COFF libraries for these devices. ELF is supported for the newer devices with SYS/BIOS 6.x and SysLink

So you have two choices. Use COFF, or upgrade DSP/BIOS.
