DLP4710EVM-LC: trouble

I have recently purchased a DLP4710EVM-LC. I followed the Quick-Start Procedure in the manual to start the DLP4710EVM-LC.

When I pushed the SW21, the power was turned on and a splash image was projected. I was also able to change the image using the GUI of the software installed on my PC. After that, I followed the Quick-Start Procedure and shut down the DLP4710EVM-LC.

Then, I started the DLP4710EVM-LC in the same way. The power was turned on. However, the light did not turn on when I pressed SW21. I could not see any image.

Please tell me how to start the projector.

The firmware has not been changed.

Welcome to the E2E forums and thanks for your interest in our DLP technology.

Have you tried reprogramming the board with the original DLP4710-LC EVM firmware? You should still be able to perform flash update function even if the board is not coming up. (Download at https://www.ti.com/tool/DLP4710EVM-LC)

What did you change about the flash image when the board failed? There may have been something wrong with your selected image.

I thank you so much for your reply.

I would like to try the flash update function using DLP4710-LC EVM firmware.

I found the firmware you suggested.

"DLP4710EVM-LC-FW – DLP4710EVM LightCrafter Firmware, Version: v8.1.0, Release date: 18-Jun-2020".

This is it, right?

I have not updated or rewritten the firmware on my projector yet. It is still in its initial state.

I have selected the four images and the monochromatic color imges presented in the software. These were presented on the left side and right side of one screen.
