DLPC3430: DLPC3430 displays the checkerboard immediately after power on

The firmware builds available from the DLP Pico Firmware Selector Tool are all configured to boot up to a test pattern generator (specifically, checkerboard) by default. Your best option to fix the above would most likely be to use a different firmware image that boots up to either a black solid field test pattern, or boots with all illumination disabled by default. In the second case, you can enable the illumination after your DSI input stream has activated.
